I am praying that BMWNA has a change of heart and decides to bring the wagon version stateside.

Especially since Audi is mulling plans for the A6 and RS6 wagons for the US...

Any chance for an M350d Touring with the quad-turbo B57? Or will that just be for the 5 Series Touring?

M340i/M340d Touring only. No M350d Touring.
New addition will be the first PHEV Touring in 330e Touring to join soon to be announced 530e Touring.

The entire point of getting a wagon is to avoid the SUV...

Why not bring wagon in Canada like Audi, Mercedes and Volvo?

Not everybody want a bus driver seating position.

You would probably want an X3M rather an M340i Touring.... No?

I would prefer a G81 M3 over a X3M. But even if i would be given the choice between a X3M and a G21 M340i i would probably pick the G21 anyway. An « M » version of a SUV just don't make sense to start with higher cog more weight etc. The sales figures might be saying the opposite.

No kidding same here. My wife especially dislikes SUVs and would never drive one. BMW is making the choice to leave the wagon market here behind them...just as the high end wagon market is continuing to gain here. Of course BMW has always treated the USA market very poorly with regard to wagon choices anyway...not that they'd consider otherwise for the G21, so perhaps it's best left behind for good. You know the only G21 choice would be AWD 4-cylinder automatic anyway.

We got too many raised trucks and big SUVs, wagons just won't do it here.

This might be old news (for those of you in the US), but it's news to me here in Canada.

We all knew the G21 wasn't making it to the US, but Canada was supposed to be still on the table.

Just read that BMW Canada won't be selling the G21 model either.

And the funny thing they're not even SUVs but raised wagons.
I'd understand if you want a 4runner, Land Cruiser, Gelan, and other real SUVs, but x1 and x2 aren't SUVs

Well, I'm in a 440 gran coupe now and it's an ok compromise. Still don't love it though. I got this one just because the G21 was still on the table for Canada (according to my dealer) and I didn't want an out going design. And now...I regret the decision.
