Official TV Commercial for the 2019 BMW 3 Series (G20)

This has got to be one of the worse BMW commercials. Especially for what is probably their biggest money generating car. Not buying that b/s line about it is a global company and it is supposed to be a global appeal commercial. I live in Brooklyn and work downtown Brooklyn and I see people like what is portrayed in this commercial every where( I call them greenies and hipsters). Trust me they are not driving BMWs. It is Uber, MTA metrocard and citibike. The few that want a BMW are driving i3. This totally missed the mark. It would work if it was an apple commercial. Just wondering who gave the greenlight for this joke.

It appears that they are trying to appeal to a broader audience than typical enthusiasts. Bmw seems to be lacking that ultimate driving machine feel and more of a "hey look, we have cool gizmos" feel. I can see the giant dancing hamsters coming and I can't say I'm excited for it.

Why make this ad geared towards Millenials? They don't buy cars and it will only get worse. Overpopulated cities are why Uber and Lyft flourish. Easy to order/pay with no need to park or do any maintenance.

I guess since less of them driving, one day they won't have enough Uber drivers to taxi their ass.

I personally could never be an Uber driver. There are plenty of other ways to make extra money if you need it.

Sheer Driving Pleasure is the international and global tag line for BMW.
The Ultimate Driving Machine is only utilised in English Speaking markets such as the regional UK,North America etc.
Globally its "Sheer Driving Pleasure" and has been since the E65 was introduced in 2001.

Worst Car Commercial Ever. This is as bad as "The Caddy that Zigs" and the "bouncing yellow ball" Merc Ads from years ago.

As a long time BMW DRIVER who prefers manuals, this commercial is offensive and cheapens the brand. Once known as the Ultimate Driving Machine. Hah, what a sad joke.
