...better pics..
I will have the front center grills (3) & the black gloss side grill + above plastic bit w. sensor...(leaving the Cerium Vertical air scoop intake as is) resprayed to Black Matte.
The Silver colour was an attempt to give a subtle retro look to the aluminium grill meshes of the early heritage sporting cars... I think it clashes too much w. the Ceriumand is too fussy ...

This is my 2023 G21 back on collection day in December. My first BMW (having traded in the V60 T8 in the background) and loving it so far!

JG66 , Saracenus - GORGEOUS cars! Enjoy!

JG66 - the changes you have done look stylish! If only you were able to have Cerium grey for the grills and wheels! It would have been even better!

Garage List
Since my car is already painted in a Volkswagen color, i also got the Volkswagen wheel color :-)
M340i in Individual Verde Ermes (Lamborghini)
BMW 898M in Neodym semi-gloss (Porsche)

The color is applied with 4 layers.
Base layer powder coated, color layer wet paint, gloss layer powder coated and final layer semi-gloss wet paint.

...had to do a few more tweaks to get it right..

1. Resprayed MATTE BLACK all front lower grille & side air intakes as the Silver didnt work.
2. Fitted some M Performance parts inside - Alcantara Striped Arm/Elbow rest ; Gear knob; Carbon Dash trim (matte - matching with Steering wheel) ; alcantara knee pads (comes with the carbon trim package) ; laser cut aluminium stick-on button controls on steering wheel (was previously gloss black); aluminium stick-on trim around radio & light switches. OEM bank of Master Switches on Driver's side window in SILVER ; front splitter (re-sprayed BLACK from Gloss).

The final 3 things to be fitted are
a) those M Performance side 'ailerons' that stick on tailgate window just below the new M Performance spoiler (resprayed Black)....and then perhaps
b) the Maxton rear bottom diffuser with or without the F1 brake light...(re-sprayed Black)
c) Black OEM protective strip on top of rear bumper

BMW NA what are you doing? I love a wagon 3 series. I would’ve gotten a m340i wagon instead of my 240i.

Finally finished detailing and ceramic coating my 330i - Tanzanite Blue, 793i wheels, Fjord Blue individual merino leather. What do you guys think of this spec?

I spent 44hrs detailing this thing, both in and out. Proud of the result though, what a colour! It’s coated with Gtechniq CSL and Exo v4. No big plans to customise the car, first want to enjoy driving and using it, can’t wait to take it on its first long drive

Lovely car and lovely colour. Not to sound like an a-hole, but I personally would have pulled the wheels off and cleaned and coated the wheel barrels if I were putting 44 hours into detailing it

Thanks. Haha wheels have been taken off and are fully cleaned coated etc. incl the barrel. What you see in the picture is some of the rust that came off the brake discs. Agree that it doesn’t really do justice. Barrel is matte black so hard to tell anyway.

Good stuff, it did seem odd to go to that level and not do your wheel barrels!
Nice job again.

These are 10/10 QUALI-TEeeee !

82mm Roundel 'stick on' for Bonnet
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305389905025?

NB: 74mm Roundel is too small for the Touring rear boot, so order the 82mm (am guessing the 74mm is for the G20 sedan)

Diesel 'stick on cap' is half price...

Not the right colour in the centre though, are they? Or on the sections further out either (black instead of the official white)?

Firstly, you are right.

There's no claim they are a genuine or a clone copy of the *original* design for starters...totally different..

Now lets compare them both side by side.

IMHO, I prefer the *inspired* Carbon AND the Black & White center logo version...

Horses for courses...to each their own...

neodyme gold is the name of the Porsche color for the wheels. Nice car overall!
