I have a factory ordered M340i waiting at the port in Germany to come to the US for South Carolina Performance Center Delivery. It is basically spec'd out with nearly every available option from the BMWUSA website, plus an Individual color. No other extra options outside of what can be configured at BMW USA's website.

I went to mdecoder.com to have a look at some of the features, particularly as they are not always listed on the configurator or documents from my dealership. Every single option and feature appears in line with what I ordered. I was suprised to see that S754, the M rear spoiler. When I looked this up online it appeared to be a carbon fiber rear spoiler(!). While this would be awesome, I have my doubts that this would be the only carbon fiber feature of the car outside of that tiny bit of carbon fiber on the engine block cover under the hood.

Does the 2021 M340i come with a carbon fiber rear spoiler in some cases, depending on what options are selected? If so, I will be a happy man... but I figure the VIN decoder may just be wrong, or my research on S754 is wrong, and it simply has a glossy black rear spoiler rather than carbon fiber.

Unless I’m mistaken the M340i comes with a small body colored spoiler. I’m sure an owner will chime in shortly.

M340 carbon fiber rear spoiler is M Performance Part can not option when ordering, you can only install in dealer, M340 MPP spoiler have 2 type, gloss black (smaller) and Carbon Fiber (taller).
