Anchors Aweigh! M340ix Onboard Glovis Spirit

It feels like Christmas may come early this year! Just received confirmation I am onboard the Glovis Spirit - (knocking on wood for any future delays/stop sales/etc, but so exciting to see it en route). My timeline below:

MY2022 M340ix
Mineral Grey Metallic
Cognac Perforated SensaTec

Driving Assistance Pkg + Driving Assistance Pro Pkg
Premium Package
Shadowline Pkg
Harman Kardon
Remote Engine Start
Power Tailgate
Icon Adaptive LED w/Laserlight

20-Sep | Order placed
21-Sep | Scheduled for production
21-Sep | Production begins (VIN assigned)
5-Oct | Exterior body assembly begins
5-Oct | In the paint booth
5-Oct | Entering assembly line
6-Oct | Assembly in progress
7-Oct | Quality Check
12-Oct | Final assembly
15-Oct | Ready for transport
27-Oct | Awaiting carrier assignment
27-Oct | Dispatched from factory
29-Oct | At the port
29-Oct | In transit
TBD At the dealership

I realize how crazy lucky I am with the order placed -> production start, had a fantastic dealer who just did a last minute swap with my build for their first available allocation.

In a perfect world, I would have been able to add the Adaptive Suspension and Parking Assistance Package, but not an option at all when I placed my order.

Mine's on the same boat! I didn't special order, but secured through a dealer about 5 hours away from me. Really hoping we weren't affected by the newly announced option deletes.

Now we sit and look at a static screen until you see 2 little tugboats surround it. That's when we can get excited again lol

Looks like the Glovis Spirit is gonna be about 2 days behind what we thought originally.

As of now the ship is still in port at Altamira
Port of Brunswick updated their expected arrival for 11/7, previously 11/5 Sauce

Port of Philadelphia updated their expected arrival to 11/11 , previously 11/9: Sauce

New York/New Jersey still showing an older arrival and departure according to This site

A little disappointed to see that its destination is Brunswick... looks like I'll be waiting for mine even longer. I figured it would hit Galveston first

Did you see anything for Baltimore port? I tried googling and couldn't find anything for the glovis spirit.

I didn't looks like Baltimore is sort of like Galveston in that they don't have a nice public website that has that info on it

That's what I've seen too. I'll do some more digging tonight to see if I can find anything. Appears as though the Glovis Spirit dropped off radar now…I read on another thread satellite tracking is required at this point. Considering signing up for a free trial of a tracker since I'm obsessed with tracking my car. 🤣

Looks like radar picked up the boat between Cuba and Florida. The schedule indicates it's 2 more days behind schedule.

My SA still claims my order will be in Galveston nov 10. I have no idea how that's possible but I guess we'll see what the ship does after leaving Brunswick...

Yeah I guess the part I don't believe is that it would go from the port in Mexico to Georgia back to Texas then back to the East Coast. I would have thought it started out with Galveston, or gets it on the return trip instead of zigzagging all over the place lol

I saw your post about this and was wondering how the logistics of this makes any sense lol. I'm guessing it's going to Brunswick, then will likely be at Baltimore next, and lastly NJ/NY. Is yours for sure on this boat and headed for the Galveston port? My build sheet says on the top right what port my car is going to.

Yeah build sheet does show GLSPOA and the geniuses told me it was Glovis Spirit. I also believe the ship is heading further North because that makes the most sense.

I suppose stranger things have happened?
