Oh, I did. Asked multiple dealers, BMW NA, opened a case with BMW Genius. You name it.

Genius is working with BMW NA product planner to answer these questions and its been more than a week and still confusion.

There is no configurator for M340, so we are working of the ordering and pricing guide which has mistakes.
In my experience after 20 years of ordering BMW - this board adn enthusiasts know much more vs CAs - so that's teh reason fro asking.

BMW is already correcting some - as seen in another thread - now M adaptive suspension is $700 optioin - go figure.

Very frustrating when nobody knows how to order a 70K car

The configurator has been screwed up from the start. When you select the executive package (ZPX), dealer says it includes all 3 features from the parking assistance package. But on the VIR, it only shows parking assistance plus (5DN). Parking distance control (ZX1) and surround view (ZX3) are missing.

I discovered today, that you can order the Track Handling Package on the 330xi,
not on the configurator.

Why? Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great 4-cylinder engine but are you really taking it to the track?

Ok that makes sense. I was thinking about the M340i track package which only includes the oil cooler and wheels.

What is the MSRP of your 330i? You may want to consider the M340i which comes standard with the M-Sport brakes.

Usually about a week. My 2008 e93 was 8 days I think but other cars were faster. It’s pretty variable.

very variable... my most recent order took 3.5 weeks at port, i was one of the crazies checking the shipping schedules between bremerhaven and NY and i saw at least 2 boats on that route come and go so it definitely depends on backlog. had a buddy whose car spent 2 days at port

the "fun" part though is when you see a boat arrive in port (use marinetraffic) that your car could be on you can pull up the bremerhaven port webcam and think to your self "am i watching my car get loaded right now"

I love following the boat.

2 cars ago I followed the wrong boat for several days. Still fun.

The grid updated to show I’m at the port. The first page of “my garage” seems about 12 hours ahead of the grid.

You are on your way. You’ll get the VIN closer to actual production.

You can create an account on bmwusa.com under the owners section and then use your production number to track your car’s progress.
