Detailer for Ceramic Coating

Any experience with this product for use on top of ceramic coating?

Don't know too much about it. I've used carpro reload as well as the last coat 2.0. I think TLC 2.0 is probably the glossiest, easiest to use for my routine wash as a drying aid. Snow foam, rinse, snow foam, Sonax wash, rinse, blow dyer, then use TLC 2.0 with a microfiber to wipe off the whole car. Seems to work fine for me!

I always put a layer of P&S Beadmaker on top of my self heal ceramic coating after every wash.

It's probably ok

Been using Ethos Defy lately, super slick, glossy and easy to apply

Recently another product got my attention. Lithium Ceramic Slam, it can be used as a topper for ceramic coating and all the reviews I have read and watched are very positive. I have purchased 1 bottle and going to try it out.

I do not have ceramic done, but I do use Hydrosilex. Extremely happy with the results of just that, so I'd imagine would work great as a recharge for ceramic as well (which is really what is what designed for).

Super easy use, wash, dry, spray and wipe. I do not recommend wet application as it wastes a lot of product.

PSA: please don’t use cg products. They are a marketing company and have always been that way. They manage to squeeze out a few products that have kept them going, but there are many brands out there that deliver clear and consistent results. And no you don’t have to buy the premium brands to get better performance. Many affordable brands that have been around for a long time.

Can someone please explain to me how to clean a car with ceramic coating. Can you simply power wash it or is that too extreme???

When I had my car ceramic coated, they recommended this and I have been happy with it:

It is cost effective compared to other options and works well.

If you have a quality coating you shouldn't need any of that stuff.
I never need to add anything to mine or my client cars.
IF you do need something, carpro reload. Or carpro elixir

Fist, you avoid any mechanical washes as those brushes will damage even a ceramic coating. Hand washing is best. You can use the two bucket system, or a power washer and foam sprayer.

Myself, even though I could do it in my driveway at home, I’ve been going to the local self spray wash about once a week where their wand nozzle is strong, but not as powerful as a power washer. I rinse, soap, rinse and then use their drying hose to blow the water from all of the nooks and crannies as well as most of the water from the surface.

Regardless of where or how I wash the car, I finish drying it using a good microfiber towel primed lightly with some ceramic detailer (I’ve used CeramicPro Care which is the brand of ceramic sealer on the car, but lately I have been using Griots ceramic detail spray). I wipe the car in sections and buff each dry section with a separate dry microfiber towel.

In between washes I occasionally, as needed, use Griots Speed Shine detail spray heavily applied to lubricate dust and wipe it off without scratching then buff with a second dry towel.

The car is a year old now and still looks great.
