Lexus has tried very hard, as you point out, to reproduce the BMW aesthetic, but to me they are still lame as hell and not sexy at all. BMW has the aggressive sport sedan look down to a science and have for years. Maybe it'll grow on you. I'm holding out for the i4. Nice stable you've had there!

The F-- by most accounts have been terrible. I wasn't even totally fond of my old F32, even in M Sport with a red interior. I think the non-M Sport G20 may have some issues with that front bumper, but the M Sport looks attractive enough with the right wheels; definitely more aggressive looking than the Merc or Audi, which I find downright flaccid. The C Class looks nice, but a bit metro to me. Maybe the G20 will grow on you if you even remotely liked the F30.

Look up Peter Schreyer, if you don't know him yet. An ex-Audi designer (responsible for iconic designs such as the TT) joined Kia more than a decade ago as the chief designer and has been responsible for many award winning designs for Kia. Your baseless accusations and conspiracy theories about some ex-BMW designer stealing Z4 concept won't win you a whole lot of credibility. You can accuse Lexus of a lot of things, but stealing BMW's design isn't one of them. Lexus tried to replicate the driving dynamics of the 3er (with IS) and the 5er (with GS), not the looks. I've been disappointed with a few 3ers in the past (e.g. F30 with its lack of driver involvement/excitement), but the G20 is the first one that I am disappointed in how it looks. If it drives like an ultimate driving machine, all may be forgiven. My e86 Z4MC looked goofy but it drove like a proper BMW, and I have to say it was one of my favorites. |

I don't wont a Lexus, kidney grilles are too large, and headlights are buggy... I'll stick with my F82. I doubt the M3/4 will look much better but we shall see. High chance the M4 will have unique tail lights.

Looks like you will have to get the m performance muffler to add the carbon fiber diffuser to the m340i, given that the m340i comes with the rectangle exhaust finishers.

Agreed, just relooked at the pictures now I'm used to the overall design and I like the MP parts apart from as you say the side blade looks odd.

Honestly, like the feel of the G20 wheel a lot more (tried at dealer). Coming from someone who has the F30 M Sport every day as a daily. I agree the F30 wheel is a looker, but it is a bit thin, and light. In looks agree it is near perfect, in use I feel it is not. Also the diameter is a bit too big.
