I see you also owned a 320i, how noticeable is the weight of the car, especially in the corners/sporty driving?

Will post one soon. Tried taking one today but it was too windy outside.

It's hard to compare really. Different generations and different engines, and completely different suspensions. Like I said in another post, the G20 340 does feel stiffer, it "sticks" to the road more. The F30 320 did feel lighter, but not in a good way. Also that 320 wasn't an AWD, the 340 is an AWD, so there's definitely a weight difference.

I think that's the only way other than shutting off the whole climate system . Isn't that crazy? Why not an on/off button? Going into the drive to the second page to shut off the AC is nuts

SensaTec dash is called out on the M340 XDrive standard equipment.

Cognac leather can also come with back dashboard if you also order the Individual leather dashboard.

I did, and I just tried it out yesterday on a 2 hour drive.

It works pretty well, but only if you use it correctly. You have to remember that it is a driving "assistant" and not self driving. What I mean is that you would still drive normally as if you didn't have it on. However, it does assist your steering and braking and makes long drives much easier. I barely had to make any turns, my hands just moved with the steering wheel (there was a few instances and few situations where I had to take control, but only for a few seconds). I also didn't brake or press on the gas until I got to my exit. That made it more comfortable than driving my G05 X5, which doesn't have Driving Assistant Professional.

So you went on a 2 hour drive and you STILL don't have any pics? C'mon man!

Is the capacitive touch 1-8 still assignable?
If so assign A/C off to one of them instead of going into iDrive all the time

Sorry to state the obvious, but I'm not obligated to do anything. If you read the thread you'll see that I said I will post pics when I get the chance and when the weather was better.

Have you had a chance to try the traffic jam assist? From reading the materials it seems the car will let you take your hands off the wheel at low speed?

Not yet. The lane keep assist won't let you take your hands off. It would disable itself if you let go for more than a few seconds. However, lane keep assist doesn't work for speeds less than 60km/h. Distance control would still work of course, but unless you're going in a straight line, then you'll need to keep your hands on the wheel at all times.

I don't recommend treating these features as if it were a self driving car, the technology is not even close yet. It just helps make the driving a little easier and less stressful. Imagine it as a co-pilot that can just do the most basic tasks and you have to take over as soon as things start to get a tiny bit complicated for it. So you can't take your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road.

Here are a few that I took quickly! The weather is still really foggy and cloudy, the white balance is completely off. I tried to correct the colours a bit to bring it back to reality as much as possible.

They are, but to be honest, I have noticed that a lot of times it just appears off in photos. In person the G20 design looks very cohesive. I have noticed that when photographing my F30 too. Hard to capture what it really looks like in photograph, have to have the angle perfect.
I think they did a great job with the G20

Agreed and the fact that you can see the plastic behind it making it look faux doesn’t help. How do you open it and keep it open?
