Any issues with creaking from the windows/shadowline trim like with the F30?

I know it's been a while, but I just saw your question now, sorry about that.

That lights dims with the rest of the lights in the cabin using this dial in the photo attached.

Never had that on the F30, and I don't have it now. Not quite sure what you really mean though.

I know what he's talking about. I had wicked creaks in my F30 that were solved by lubricating all the door and window trim. No issues since.

The his is probably the reason and I think it looks better without cogniac on the dash!

Another question: in my 2016 F30, both side view mirrors and the rear view mirror have full auto-dim surfaces. I’m driving a 2019 X3 right now, and it seems that only the driver side view has auto-dim, but it’s not on the entire mirror surface. There is a border around the auto-dimming surface that seems to be regular mirror glass. Same goes for the rear view mirror. The passenger side mirror doesn’t seem to have auto-dim at all.

Is this the same on the G20? And if so, does anyone know if this is just an unfortunate cost cutting measure?

Lol. I have to respond ... that definitely depends on the person. When I had an M4 I still wanted more power, but M5/M8 are out of my price range for now..

The M340i is a rocket! Just more refined than a full M.. I don't find myself "wanting", and it will hold my interest during the length of lease. Also there will be decent tune options in the near future!

Lol I never want to test drive a M5 since I think it will just make me cry afterwards. I could "afford it" but it makes no financial sense for my early retirement goals.

M340i lease payment will hit under my self-imposed 4% gross monthly income cap.

I would gladly work 2 extra years to own an M5, as in pay cash

I don't get the stigma on this in the US (not native to here). If you don't compare with co-workers and such you don't know if you're getting screwed or not.

I test drove one last night. Feel like the steering wheel is harder leather than my f32 m sport wheel. Feel like mine is merino leather feel and g20 m340 is Dakota leather . Is it just the demo car?

Or just wait for the CPO models.

As someone else said, it depends on who you ask and what they were driving before.

But for a non M-model 3 series, no. Not at all. This car has more than enough power. It's one of those things that will surprise you. You won't really believe it until you try it. All I can say is that it is very impressive for sure. Coming from an F30 and a G05, the one thing I appreciate more than its power is the wheel stiffness. It's just perfect, especially in Sport+.

With the info he posted, and what we know about m340i pricing / lease figures, we can get a fairly accurate range. We can't get an exact figure, but when it comes to income that's not as important, except to the irs.

From what I've witnessed, nothing good comes from sharing income figures, especially with your co-workers. I saw this happen before, and it didn't result in resolution of income disparities or anything like that. Instead it led to damaged relationships and dysfunction where it didn't exist prior to sharing compensation figures.

Anyway, it was just a quick one off post. My apologies for going off-topic.

Does your car have the pathway lighting feature ? I know it's a feature in G20 but I've never seen any US owner mentioning it.

From an employer's perspective, I love people like you.

From an employee's perspective, I got a 30% raise one time just by asking after finding out what a co-worker made.
