They all copy each other.
Audi is no exception.

We know that and accept it to a degree but there are certain design elements that become tradition and heritage over time. In this case it just doesn't make sense to have this particular grill design on a model that should have sleek and fluid exterior.

Makes you wonder what the electric 4er will have as a front.

No doubt less sleek but so is an Aston Martin DB5 vs. a Jaguar e-type and I wouldn’t say one of them is more representative of how a two door should look than the other. The new 4 series will have more of a muscular, sculpted and densely packaged look than elongated, sleek and feminine for sure but both design languages have their own charm. M3/M4 and 3 series coupes has also always been leaning more towards the masculine side.

Everyday I grow more disgusted by this grill. It's the ugliest design bmw ever made. The whole big grill concept is just horrible. I'm sticking with my F80 and will be buying a F85 later on. Originally was going to consider a G05 but I still can't make myself accept the crazy grill.

My hope is that the mesh/inside of grille is less tacky than the 340. That can make a significant difference. Something discrete for God's sake. Looks like the hired the Kardashians so far...
