So pleased I have found this thread, I currently have an M340d touring on order, scheduled for week 18 build.
Spec as follows,
Black sapphire metallic
Cerium Grey wheels and grill
Tacora red leather
H and K sound
Additional comfort and storage
Lumbar
Having looked at the thread with all the pictures of different colours, and seen my pals tanzanite blue 4 series in the flesh. seriously looking at changing the order from Sapphire Black to the TB with cerium, keeping the red leather, and adding factory fit tow bar for the MT bike racks.
Can’t wait for delivery as and when it lands.

winter tires 225/255 on staggered Oem wheels.

I hate this thread. I can look but I can't touch since nearly everyone over here thinks wagons/estates are the devil's spawn. Why that would be is a mystery to me

i can't figure out what it does!

I just took delivery of an Alpina D3S Touring. Not only is it my first Alpina, it is also my first BMW.
For me it's the perfect car : not too big, practical, loads of torque (which is what counts in real life traffic), surprisingly comfortable and with reasonable fuel economy (not unimportant as I do around 30k miles/year).
I have to say the first week has been a blast.
These are not the best pictures, but it gives you an idea.
