disklok alternative

I purchased the unit and have to say not really impressed with the lock, inserting and taking key have to wobble it, the Lever is too bulky with the spring

It's all too fiddly to put it on and take it off.

Anyone has better alternative?

Unfortunately there is nothing better than the Disklok in terms of security. It is cumbersome yes, but the best there is.

This. In security tests it took more than 5 minutes to remove. That’s with a serious tool kit and causing plenty of damage. A tool chest the average thief doesn’t carry. The idea is to protect the entire steering because these are easy target high ticket items for thieves. You’ll get used to it eventually. It’s an annoyance at first. The pros outweigh the cons.
