Hi there, first time posting here. My 330i (G20) driver's side mirror glass was stolen and just wanted input on if I could just buy the mirror and replace it myself or better to take it to a shop.

Reason I'm wondering is because one end of the wiring/ connector seems to be broken. Hopefully you can see it in the pictures, it's the top end of the metal connectors.

That seems like an easy replacement. The broken off white triangle should be for the blind spot indicator. I think the new mirror glass should come with a new one you would just have to plug into it. It's as simple as plugging in the connections and clipping in the mirror by pressing it into place. Try moving the mirror left/right and up/down first to make sure the motor still works if not that's easy to replace too
