They're going to a place to work out but people will drive around looking for a close parking spot or even better, they park in areas where it's not a parking spot. These areas are right in front of the gym marked off as fire lanes. Yet, they'll park there because they don't want to do extra walking before they actually work out.

Depends where you live. Here in Arizona, it's 119 today. So people don't want to walk in the hot weather...not sure why you are the judgment police around here

I'm now a bit ashamed to admit it, but 25 years or so ago, I returned to my BMW to find that some moron had parked one of those early '70s Cadillac two-door coupes (with a separate ZIP code for each damn door) reeeally close to me. I keyed him.

I guess we all had that. Pic1: Middle of Home Depot parking lot, parked with nobody around. Found that 10 minutes later. Pic 2: parking at the bike trail. plenty of open space, yet the sweet spot is right there, next to the driver door.

How about being the victim of a hit and run while parked in my own driveway? My former loser roommate with a suspended license walked to a convenience store and an impaired guy offered him a ride home. That's when he dropped the loser off, hit my car and ran. Despite getting a picture of his (borrowed) vehicle and tag, State Farm kept my deductible and the arbitrator said my witness was not neutral.
