If it's a new sensor in the door handle, you'd think it could be. Might have to wait a while to find out

I tend to get my cars pretty much fully loaded. Whilst it's not great on trade in, I find it's very quick to sell them privately and get a really good price.

I think you just have to be honest with yourself about how often you'd use the options.

Not so easy these days as most are bundled in packs!

It wouldn’t surprise me that BMW will offer this via the BMW store later on. They have done this with the drive recorder before. NFC is a standard that does work for the digital key and Android phones already, so why wouldn’t it work for Apple devices, including wearables like the Apple watch?

Most likely because Apple interpretation of standards means they aren’t truly compliant so there may need to be a specific chipset to enable Apple CarKey even though it’s NFC.
