I swear the fact that we're plugging this when Tesla has had Sentry Mode for a while now is laughable. I seriously don't get these German manufacturers. I want to pull for them I really do, but from a technology R&D perspective it's humiliating.

Still says not available for my 6/19 production that's still on 07/2019 software. I suppose it requires 11/2019 at least? I hope they push the update to all cars soon.

I did however notice the traffic camera information is now available for my car though.

You're a client advisor, you get paid to be happy when they release features that are late to the dance by a couple of years.

That’s not fair. It’s a new feature. Use it or not but I’m not going to complain about having the option.

If it was never offered I doubt thier sales would have changed at all.

I have a 6/19 build. Car was recently updated to 3/2020 software and I can have it.

Actually this functionality was illustrated in the printed manual that came with the car. So it's not a new feature. It's a delayed feature.

I already have a 2 ch. dash cam but I purchased this as added security. While the quality isn't as good as the BlackVue and no parking mode feature, it captures a greater angle around the vehicle so I found it to be a worthwhile purchase.

Think I'm gonna give it a try w the 1-month free offer and see if it's worth it!

I've had somebody hit me and run a few years ago and never want to go through that again. Seems worth the price of admission IMO

I'm on the trial and it works quite well. You set it to record automatically, and you can then select to record and it takes the last 20 seconds and records an additional 20 seconds. It then allows you to save and export the video.

I tried to program one of the preset buttons (1-8), to begin recording but was unsuccessful. I would hope that if I am involved in an accident, I would have the wherewithal to remember the menu structure.

Maybe because there is already a predefined shortcut - press and hold the panoramic view button to activate the record function.
