Traditional.

I have a 330i with the digital and its the one thing I really do not like.

I have the map turned off and its just a big ass blank space in the middle. It needs to be more configurable and include a 'classic mode'.

The classic and easy to read instruments of F30 and earlier are a huge drawcard.

They purposely made the analog look ugly and base AF.

Minimal mode for me.

The analogue one on G20/21 looks cheap....

Between the two options for the current generation the digital looks better. Like the other poster said, the older analog tach/speedometer looked better. I loved my e90/92 tach/speedometer. Since the steering wheel was smaller, the gauges were more focus on showing the minimum amount of info. Good old days!
