'it ai'nt half hot mum!
Yes, the last couple of days have been quite hot, but for me, not so hot as 1976 when we had days of it plus smoke and it's itchy particles drifting at nights over from burning common land. Not good!
Also, I did not have an efficient aircon in the car to hide away in, it just paid lip service to it and packing up after three years and after pumping up the system every couple of weeks requiring £700 to put right and that was in those days. And what with the plastic seating looking like cloth, common in those days, getting about the country was hell on earth! But nowadays, my BMW 330i aircon is so good, and has not packed up after years, it is bl...dy marvellous! Life's a dream! Well done BMW! |

One of the best investments I made was having aircon fitted at home. Not as expensive as you'd think, and if you get an inverter model they aren't even especially expensive to run.

Remember to send to car precondition for departure time on mybmw app. Used it yesterday before leaving, took the edge of internal temp in the car for sure.

I thought it was good in my 330!……it’s magnificent in the 840 although the ventilated seats do not work in proportion to the noise the fans make!
