I wonder how much drag this ugliness is going to add... you can't tell me that a huge vertical flat surface like this has been thought for efficiency other than collecting birds in the grill ... At least no one cares about the "lexus" tail lights anymore ...

looks like i am keeping my f32 or buying a f82.
whats interesting is that all the people i know who have audi's and mercedes like this design and grill. so BMW may have succeeding in taking in new customers. Maybe someone can make an aftermarket bumper that incorporates smaller grills.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I for one like the design overall. I'm not sure what the people hating on the kidneys expect... Should BMW just keep repeating the same tired design language over and over? Should they take the cheap unimaginative route like the American companies and make everything retro-styled? I applaud the BMW designers for taking risks. The best part of it all: If you don't like it, don't buy one.

Damn, if GOLFFRR is doubtful, how is he supposed to sell it?!?!
Lol. That ID does drink the kool Aid

" doubtful " is about as negative as he can get about a new bmw item :

As others have commented, the design seems geared more towards the Chinese market.

I think it looks OK. It reminds me a bit of the Tim Burton Batmobile. I definitely like the grill design more than the new 7 which looks like an after thought.

Wait for the production version.

It won't be as wild as the concept. Just like the M8 concept was much watered down into the M8.

Grand changes presented on concept.
Minor changes on the street going model.

That for sure but, still make this crap.

Love the rest, it's just as good as it gets but the front is just to much.
And why the bumper line fallowing the grill??

It's just to much!

All this whining reminds me of the exhaust videos of the F8X.

"I'm keeping my E92"

"They've ruined BMW, they don't care about their customers"

"BMW is dead to me"

Y'all still bought those in droves.

Looks like the only thing the designers are capable of is making the grills bigger to attract attention, sad...
