But this is boring my friend. How many times have we seen the same design cues, the bloated ass, the overly sharp pulled back eyes, the gaping maw, etc etc in the past decade from Infiniti/Lexus etc.?

This design was as predictable as it could have been.

Do you honestly see a BMW here? Even the sculpted hood seems borrowed from a Charger.

There it is! The big grill! I know a lot of people don't like it but honestly I do. Simply because I felt the G20 wasn't a big step enough in a new direction. At this isn't at all boring and it looks more in line with the body than the 7 series. The CSL homage was the biggest hint that this was coming.

I actually think the raindrop slats or whatever they're called on the G20 would work very well here since there's a lot of real estate for them. I don't think the G20 grilles are big enough to pull them off. Also, can someone highlight the 4s in the grille? My brain can't see them.

Looks amazing....apart from the ridiculous grilles. If they were in proportion to the rest of the car, this would be a winner.

A ploy to normalise the 7 & X7? Still coming to terms with the change.. face only a mother could love! What next.. a shitty IPhone 11 with massive ugly camera bump?

Huge grill on X7 works because it's a huge car, I don't think it works on 7 Series but, fuck it it's a big car as well, does it work on 4 Series??? Maybe in China, not in my book, it's fuck ugly, last 4 Series concept is still my screen saver, it was a great looking concept and production car was very similar, they should've made manual M340i, I guess my last BMW will be f82 M4 Competition in Manual.

Remember when people used to complain about the Bangle cars?

This thing is fantastic from the rear and sides, but wtaf were they thinking with that grill? Makes the new 7 look restrained

New words are currently being created to describe how terrible this looks. Worse than I ever could have imagined. Hilarious that people will actually pay to drive something like this around 😂😭

I.......am surprised I really like this. I'll reserve my cash until I see how the grill works out for UK (number plate) MSport and M4 cars.

Anyone seen dimensions yet, it looks a little shorter than the outgoing 4, which to me would be excellent news. The rear overhang looks less, might be well off.

Overall the couple lives on its side silhouette and this is beautiful.

If you already love the way the old grills look this isn't the car for you. This is about capturing a new audience. It's going to be a huge success for the like and subscribe generation.

Stunning

Stunning looking car. Looks great from every angle. As a 3 series owner I'm jealous as usually the 4 is just like a 2 door 3, but this is an entire new model (at least on the outside). Want one.

Can't believe the hate here. New grill looks great and aggressive. All the haters will be buying these eventually - wait and see.
