Just bought the KC Designs strut member bar from Kies. Huge fan thus far, I feel like it does stiffen up the front end on turn in and gives less dive, more like my E90 335i felt.

I’m having the the front and rear under braces installed soon. I’ll report back.

Anyone can comment about thicker sway bars vs bracing for body roll and chassis stiffness on track? For example, did bracing and wasn’t happy until after upgraded sway bars, etc.

Sway bars will help out the most but they are not cheap to have installed. Something like 20 hours of labor. I was going to do them until I found that out. I’ll get Ohlin coilovers before I do sways. I did them on my G37 and they made a big difference. I’m not expecting that much of a difference when I get the under chassis braces installed. Getting that and CF aero installed all around on Wednesday.

I have the front+rear lower subframe braces as well as the mid brace. Not drastic but it definitely makes a difference. Reduces body roll a bit and keeps the steering feeling crisp and tight. Overall I feel it was worth it. Especially being that you can get free shipping through Kies.
Sway bars will make a much bigger difference . . . I may tackle that in the next few months.

Got front and rear underneath braces installed. The muffler on my Valvemaster exhaust had to come out to install it but good news is that it fit. I’ll chime back in once I’ve put more miles on it to see if any difference is noticed.

Update: Car does feels a bit tighter but I don’t drive it too hard. Did a pretty hard lane change today and it felt solid.

However…..I’ve noticed increased NVH from the front. Upon inspection, the front under brace appears to be almost or barely touching my AA downpipe. So I think with slight flexing of the DP it causes it to hit the brace and I can feel/hear it. First noticed it when turning and then started to notice it on hard acceleration pulls.

If I can’t get it adjusted to not hit it, I’m taking it off and will be selling it. Maybe it’s better suited for OEM downpipe.

I’ll update again once I take it back to the shop.

I haven’t noticed any real difference on my daily trips with just this one installed. I wasn’t expecting to feel a noticeable difference. I plan on installing the rest here soon when my schedule allows for it. The bar does look cool when you open the trunk. But if you are packing the trunk full for a trip, luggage will hit it. Not a huge deal but just be careful so the finish isn’t dinged up. I didn’t realize until after I installed it that the hooks can be installed with it.
I’m struggling to comprehend how a brace bolted in the trunk between 2 lashing points, remote from rear subframe mounts can provide any tangible benefits.

Hey man, I'm super close to pulling the trigger on the KC strut and front member braces. You liking them so far? Really looking to tighten up the feel of the G20. I know the RFTs I still have on the care certainly aren't helping, but I'm honestly shocked at how much more planted my 16 Lexus IS300 felt through tighter curves/on-ramps etc.
