The new X5 uses the same button for heat and ventilation. I think we'll get it finally since the X3 has it and its the equivalent suv to a 3er as well as almost equivalent in price, but i don't think people will like it. The seats look like the X3 seats made for a sedan , but the X3 with ventilation have complaints for a much harder seat and the ventilation systems by bmw are commonly complained that they don't do much in cooling.

Yep these are definitely real... they look just like BMW configurator images: flat, dull and not very attractive.... BMW configurators have got worse over the last few years where they should have improved (I remember configuring my first BMW a 320i e90 and the images were fairly good back then)

And besides, it would have been an awful lot of work for someone to CGi all these images

My first reaction was Lexus IS derivative but with kidney grilles. It's not a bad design. I like that it has this predatory look. The front end is a bit fussy. Not sure if it's due to the sweeps and cuts all over.

I hope BMW improves on the driving experience that the f30 left so many wanting. All will be forgiven then.

Look at a pic of the X5 on the configurator and then a real new X5, the difference is very noticable, the configurator is very 2d and flat in its renderings. Colors don't sparkle and materials look worse, thats just because its rendered, the real thing always looks better
