Design-wise, the F30/2 and F80/2 are significantly better looking than the E90/2 lol

First I've heard about a lsd...
I lost faith in BMW's suspension a long time ago. You'd be amazed what a proper suspension tune and non RFTs do for the handling. Mine's an xDrive so will never be the last word but certainly better than any SUV! Hated the X3's leather (felt child-proof) but the rest of interior struck me as copy & paste from all the other models. Nice car, for someone else.

Well, there are opinions, and then there's wrong opinions. First off, you can't judge the build quality/material quality without seeing it first hand. I do recall an article a while back saying interior material quality would be a major focus with this vehicle.
There really is nothing illegible or complex about this interior. It's the standard BMW setup but now with the more angular design language. What did you expect them to do...just insert the F30 interior into this vehicle? BMW needed a wow factor with this interior and I'd say they did that without making it too flashy

Want to know how it drives, the size, rear seat room, pricing, etc

It looks fine, but it also doesn't wow me, need to see actual photos instead of computer renderings.

I really don't like these new tail lights (except the tail lights of the new X5). It looks so japanese (and french as well), but nothing german or BMW. Kinda cheap and not really modern. I'm afraid it will be hard to find a fitting BMW as my next car (and almost all my cars have been BMWs). I guess I could live with the front, but the rear is absolutely not my thing. And I hate all these black wheels or the two-tone wheels with a black inner part, I don't get how anyone can like this style.

The interior seems to be a step forward though.

should we expect an even longer wheelbase in a car that probably already has enough legroom?

A big fat "meh" from me...

As others have said, I'll need to see in person. But these pictures dont really get me excited. The interior looks promising/interesting. The exterior is doing nothing for me.

Well, the complaining was not a surprise, it is a given with anything new from BMW.
I happen to like the G29, the G01 and even the X5 and 8 series.
The G20 i had low expectations towards, the G30 was a letdown after the gorgeous F10. The F30 was a nice car, it was plagued by road noise and not the most impressive premium interior.
This is perhaps what have looks to be, the biggest change. The G20 looks way more premium inside, the digital cluster is obviously not a standard option. Curious to hear about the hybrids and EV solution, and how about that touring, as perhaps the rear end was not the best side from the the new 3 - the touring should fix that flaw.
Overall, positive first impression, now let´s have some genuine pictures.

I've never liked the shifter on the column. I just think it feels cheap. I hope this is not the case.

I'm definitely getting digital, but some people will still prefer analog instrumentation instead.
I think even the base display will be digital, just not the whole screen. It appears to have fixed ring surrounds showing the digits but with a digital central area (needles, read outs etc)

I really like the seats and new gear stick! That's about it.

Hate the square exhausts on the M340i more like a C43 copy

Are cooled or ventilated seats not an option still? Why cant we get basic luxury features in a BMW 3? Genesis G70 is looking better, especially after these images have been released.

Can’t see it myself... the interior looks very minimalist to me... even more so than the F30... where do you see clutter??

I much prefer the bold character line of the f30 running from the fender to the tailight.. the g20 looks wayyy soft in the profile, in comparison.

Front looks busy in the renders; hopefully it looks better in the flesh.. rear is inoffensive.

It should drive better than the f30 given the LSD alone but I'll give the design a meh for now; until I see it IRL.

Mmmm... Looks a little similar to the Mercedes CLA.

I love the seats, however, I hate the interior.

BMW G30 - Looks like a larger F30.

Overall I am not pleased with BMW's new line up, I was planning on upgrading to the 5 series until I saw the G30, it looks like a larger version of my F30, esp. if you compare the xenon F30 to the xenon G30. I then decided to wait for the new G20 to see if I would be as impressed as I was when the F30 came out; if this is really it, I'll pass.

Just my two cents....

Because 3-er is basically not a luxury automobile.

I dont think it was confirmed yet but it seems like it will be 382 hp and 369 ft-lbs, at least according to BMW

So are the M340i exhaust tips part of the bumper, or actual tips? Hoping for the latter, although it's not entirely possible to tell given that one photo.

I don't know what timezone/day it will be in Switzerland, but the livestream unveiling will be in 12 hours from now:
