I was very skeptical about ordering the MPE. I had not really heard it as there were no good videos at that time and my f30 340 was spec'd with MPE (not mppsk) and it was very disappointing as a stand alone piece. I had to add a AWE midpipe to make it come alive.
This g20 MPE is ready to rock right outta the box!

Yeah I got the same price via PM as on their website. Which is fine, it's a good price. I 100% would have gotten it from them if I didn't get it residualized into my lease

A good way to put it! Really wakes things up. I had a guy ask me if I put M3 exhaust on it... I chuckled, but it had me wondering how loud this will be to a stock M3. Soon.... kinda....

Thanks for insight, that is a good price - right near that of 'employee' cost from dealer. I didn't get that cost but my lease was a CEL anyway.

It's a port installed accessory yes, 2000 MSRP, want to say invoice is near 1500-1550... can't remember off the top of my head.

BMW Parts Now (based in IL) has this MPE listed for $1490. Shipping to CA is about $79 so $1570 shipped. For those who live in closer states, it would be even cheaper.

I think the ones on the M550i are welded. Same with these? Not a big deal, because I agree, the sound is the key!

Welded? No the exhaust 'tip' finisher doesnt even touch the actual exhaust pipe. Just kind of floats over it. Take a closer look.

No weld, so I suppose I could mimic Dinan's quad tip setup easily, if I wanted to go about modifying the rear valence. Since I sell them however, I attest 4 pipes in the rear to true M's, so I am not trying to be 'that' guy.... :P
