Pedal causing leg discomfort.
Has anyone else extended the accelerator pedal to bring it to the same level as the brake, or anyone else have discomfort when switching from accelerator to brake, or hovering over the brake from your usual position?
I'm in my late 20's so not old age yet, but did break my ankle which is possibly the cause, just haven't had this problem in any other cars. It's not the offset pedals at all, that doesn't bother me having previous german cars - but it's the accelerator step pedal being further back. Usually I would keep my heel in one position, and just pivot the ball of my foot from the brake to the accelerator, which I can't do in this due to the accelerator being too far back. Has anyone extended the pedal or does anyone else have discomfort, it's around my ankle/back of achilles heel going midway up my leg. |

No, but I did find the pedal position in my last car to be excruciatingly uncomfortable, and was glad to be back in a car with floor mounted pedals. I guess it's body shape that dies/doesn't fit pedals.
