Console part broke. Warranty fix?

I'm buying this 330i out of state. Picking up Monday. Dealer assured me this part will get fixed under warranty of course I'm getting it in writing before I sign for it.

It's cracked in the console. Is this an easy warranty fix ? Any idea how easy or expensive this repair would be?

I've swapped many console and trim parts over the years. But not on the new 3.

Trim choices here are £150 for the grey/brown high gloss when spec'd from new & hazard a guess at £350 if bought afterwards so let's assume the console part is half of that at £75 and £175.

From what I have seen the console trim looks to be the simplest to remove if done a certain way and if you have plenty of experience in the past with trims I reckon you would be able to do this yourself no problem.

OM3. Appreciate the info. I'm pushing the dealer hard to get this replaced before I buy.

Yeah, I wouldn’t take delivery unless it’s been replaced.

Me too. Once you take the car, and if you don't have it in writing that they'll replace it, they can go back on their word and say they never said they'd replace or pay for the trim.
