I'm sure people must have mentioned this before... But I only just found out this week after having my G20 330e since release last year that there is a miniature compartment to the right under the steering wheel (to the left for left hand drive cars).

It's so small I've no idea what I would keep in there, but really made me laugh when I found it at the weekend!

After having my 2019 G20 for a little over a week now I have finally figured out how to turn off the steering intervention after almost dying twice from poorly lined roads!

If I recall that is now part of extended storage package. Do you also have nets at the back of the seats?

It's not actually that small. It's not only that little tray, it's quite deep.

Yup. I store my gloves and a beanie for the winter. Along with my garage door opener, obdlink and some other random stuff. It can also hold all your car documents and handbooks and stuff. Pretty damn deep.

No, not that deep! He's on about the one on the other side of the steering wheel

Surprisingly, it's also called a glove box

after 4 months of ownership just found out that when you are in sport mode and the trans is in manual shifting, there's a line (under M1 or whatever gear you're in) that actually act as shift lights and go from yellow to orange to red to tell you when to shift

Yup. I'm talking about the same glove box. The one next to the steering wheel.

Me too. That’s the only thing I’d have loved to have. I don’t use adaptive cruise control in my Audis. Hell. I don’t use normal cruise control either. So yes. Only thing I really miss is surround view.

Did you change your car's diet? Certain foods do impact on flatulance!

I never drive with the windows down, but today I figured I'd give it a try just to get a sense of what the car sounds like from the outside.

Maybe it's just me... but holy crap the turbo is loud! None of that turbo sound makes its way into the cabin so it caught me by surprise.

I drove with my windows down for the first time yesterday and I was shocked too. My A4 had no intake sound or turbo spooling up sound when stock. But in my 330i, I can hear the turbo spool. And if I close the windows and pay attention, I can hear it inside the cabin too. I never noticed it before!

you can clearly hear turbos whistling in Sport+ mode with the F8x even with windows closed...

I'm assuming there's a bit more sound deadening material in the G20. That and the engine noise being piped through the speakers maybe drowns out any turbo sound in the cabin especially in sport+.

Will be interesting to see how the G80 sound comes through.

In the F80 M3, I wouldn't be surprised. It's a proper sports executive sedan The 330i isn't anywhere as powerful but it still sounds pretty decent in stock form when it comes to exhaust, intake and turbo sounds.

Oopsie, saw a “M4” instead of “A4”

There's also a little hidden compartment in the boot. On the passenger side (left) in the netted area, the plastic tub has a false bottom. It opens up and there's a few tools in there.

No idea what the tools are supposed to be used for since there's no spare tyre. Anyone have any idea of the purpose?
