Any other coilover reviews?

Looking to see what other coilovers G20 owners here have tried. I've seen a few good Ohlins reviews but hard to justify 2890 before install costs. Anyone want to share their experience with H&R, Bilstein or other coilovers?

Probably not many G20 owners that install coilovers. Of the few that do, half install Ohlins R/T and the other an inferior setup like the BC, FA, or KW V1. Most that choose the cheap coilover route are installing simply for aesthetics and not handling characteristics. IMO.

Currebtly running bilsteino evo se coilovers alongside 12.5mm mode concepts spacers on front 15mm rear. Wheel set up is 225/35R20 front 255/30R20 rear with micheleb pilot ps4s on all 4. Car handles much better comapred to stock and feels less crashy over bumps however is much firmer all around. Hope this helps.

I'd love to hear the opinions of those on lower priced coilovers too, those under $2500. Right now I see opinions on ~3k+ suspension or lowering springs, nothing in between. I hesitate to spend 3k or even 2k knowing I will drive year round through winters and hit numerous unavoidable potholes (north east).

I've had H&R Ultralow and H&R Premium Street coilovers on previous cars and the ride was very good even on camber top mounts. My H&R springs I have now are unacceptable so I don't want to make a second mistake.

All reviews are appreciated, thanks!
These are even more expensive than the Ohlins so I hope they ride really well! Car looks great btw.

It all depends on what you are looking for. If the car is a street car only, you dont need to get the more expensive coilovers.

The dinan springs might be another feasible option since they ride better than the H&R, but not quite as good as stock.
I’ve ridden in a friends Evo that had KW V1 and it felt horrible. Also experienced BC Coils and again was astounded and how rough they rode for being a “street coilover”.

I've heard that from off the shelf BCs but not from KW V1s. Interesting. But I guess it also depends on the rest of the suspension setup too, bushings, top mounts etc.
