Not sure your post belongs in this thread, but answering anyway; I have the 19s with runflats - the ride is somewhere between ''firm' and 'too firm'. Firm on normal flat Dutch roads, and too firm over speedbumps and the like.

And this is coming from somebody who lives in a city where winters suck and roads get bumpy and potholes.

You don't think 19s plus runflats is too firm? I'm borderline on trading these in for something a little softer; getting fed up with 10km/h over speedbumps...
Could be the speedbumps of course; they're evil round here.

4000 miles on it, am getting an absurd 24mpg, with 75% city driving. It is winter so a lot of put-putting, but still simply outstanding. I used to get roughly the same mileage, about 330miles a tank with my C43, but was putting intwo gallons more!

M340i MPG
Recently I had to do 872 miles in one day (long story). Mainly motorway driving of course - but I’m pretty impressed with the economy on a long run. Got it over 40MPG at one point... but this was the average for the day.
That’s 32MPG for those in the US.... |

Wow, not bad at all.....maybe I'll try it one day (if I can bring myself to leave my precious Sport + more for a second ).

Yeah was in a mixture of Comfort and Sport rather than Sport+ 😀
Oh and it’s worth mentioning I was driving for 13 hours excluding breaks. Never once felt uncomfortable on Adaptive set up. Don’t think it’s harsh at all and it just eats miles. |

I second these numbers on almost the same setup. I have a '20 G20 330i M Sport staggered 19's. Getting 37-38 highway, 24-26 city. It has 4K miles on it.

M340i economy is remarkably good
On a recent 900 km return trip down the South Island of New Zealand on main roads in my M340i (X-drive) I got 7.3 l/100 km (there and back). On the way south, with air con off and generally observing speed limits, I got 6.5 l/100 Km (that's 36.2 miles to the US gallon) - amazing for a big six. That B58 is super-efficient. But if you use all the performance available, you can expect to pay at the pump.

Have only done about 800km in mine so far but I'm getting around the 12-13L/100km on average. Mostly short trips, very rarely over 60km/h zones (not travelling far due to covid), and half of them in sport+ or individual.
It's slightly more efficient than my F30 340i and getting closer in efficiency to the long term G20 M340i I had loaned to me over Christmas. |

I've charted mileage on my M340i since new (currently at 9300 miles). Around town it gets about 25, but on the open road it has exceeded 38 mpg. Fuel range on the open road exceeds 500 miles. I don't baby it, so I think the numbers are representative of the car's fuel economy.
The numbers are truly amazing to me considering the car's power and performance. During overtakes, the car accelerates from 60 to 100+ mph in a flash which inspires a lot of confidence when passing semi's on two lane roads. IMHO, BMW has done an incredible job with this car. It has a wonderful balance of power, handling, ride comfort, and fuel economy. Buying the M340i was the best car buying decision I've ever made! |

Hi,
I have a little over 13K miles on my M340x and average MPG IS 25.1. There is a big difference between highway & around town mileage-- highway between 27-28 MPG & around town 23-24. When I first got the car, I coded it to start in EcoPro & changed to Sport when I needed/felt like it. I noticed that the car was slow to respond & thanks to a post (Tam the Bam ), I changed to Adaptive mode; this mode is still relatively efficient, but doesn't suffer from EcoPro's sluggishness. I still use Sport (Individual) when I need/feel like it I also agree that the car has a great balance of handling, efficiency & responsiveness! Hope that helps!

Super economy!
Took my 330i for its first country drive. Wondering what I could achieve economy-wise in Eco Pro mode with no special driving technique. Made quite a bit of the assisted driving mode.
Over 350km I managed to get an amazing 6.1 l/100km (46.2mpg)!! Can anyone better this?
