Did you also add a clutch stop? I found that very helpful in improving the overall shifting experience in my F82.

I’ve been driving my 6mt for about 3 months and there is a lot to love about it but something’s do bother me
The engagement point is a lot higher than I’ve been used to , my 2ss 1LE had an amazing clutch, felt smooth and felts great the m3s engagement point is way too high which is a bummer but it is what it is, I also noticed the way the clutch feels is not “smooth” as you are re-engaging the clutch I feel a springy/not smooth feel to the clutch pedal Besides that going from 1st to 2nd is different every time, I need to do the CDV delete asap And for power I definitely think they neutered the car removing 70 torque, I’ve been thinking of getting the JB4 piggy back and just getting the car to the comps level of power What do you guys think? Also anyone else notice when idling the car isles low, then when you clutch in does it feel like the valves open more? Not sure if this is normal haha |

You have to cut off boot or retro fit boot that comes w . I couldn’t retro fit bc I have no skill so I went w stock boot. Search “m perf knob in g80” forums for details. https://www.bmwminipartsdepot.com/oe...hoC5HgQAvD_BwE |

It’s really easy to install. The original clutch stop and the replacement are below. You just need to get up under the dash to pull the factory stop and replace with the BMS. I used 2 disks. It comes with 3. I have no issues with rematch. Works perfectly. You will need to cut off about 1/2 of the new clutch stop. There is a thread here with pictures of how to trim it.
