Imo it's really not as bad as guys are making it out to be and I believe once they hit the road a lot of people will have a change of heart.

Car looks very aggressive. Happy to see some bold front fascia design yet a reminiscence of BMW 328 Kamm Coupe from the 40's.

I believe you are right. It’s not bland, stale, boring or bloated and the lines are attractive. Many will come around a few will not.

facts. when I saw the reveal of the tlx type s, and saw the taillights, I was thinking, damn the new 4 series also has these lights. so who is copying who in this case?

I like it, its preference really and as a fan of design you have to give BMW props for being bold and not conforming to what everyone thinks.

It will be using the same design. The grille might be bigger and wider but it's still the same shape and concept. A totally different front end means it won't look the same at all. They'll probably just make the grilles wider and lower to make the car look sportier but that's where the differences will end from all the spy shots we've seen.

19 states in U.S do not require you to run a front plate. That includes my home state of Nevada.

Black would look nice too, but I'm worried it would hide the grills.

Fingers are definitely crossed. But I saw somewhere BMW wanted to differentiate the 4 series more from the 3 so hopefully they keep their separate grills.
