Every car owner knows the pain of depreciation, but the past 8 months have been interesting, to say the least, for high-spec G20 models.

Since beginning of the year, I have been looking at several 320d M Sport with Visibility and Tech Pack. Registered April 2019.

Back in Feb 2020, BMW AUC with 8k miles on the clock, price £25k.

Today, BMW AUC with 20k miles on the clock, price £27.5k.

Current AUC 320d are 8 months older, with 12k more miles, and you certainly pay for the privilege.

Shame I didn't buy the 320d in February, it would have cost nothing in depreciation, and I may even have made some cash through ap-preciation even after running it for 8 months.

Long may it last for all you lucky G20 owners, while I am forced to stick it out with my F30.

Hmm, interesting. Are/were these cars in the same dealership or have you averaged out the prices across the board?

The effects of Covid on the used car market. There isn't much stock about and the market has been very busy since lockdown ended.

I save my AutoTrader search every week to cover all 2019 year 320d M Sport (Vis/Tech Packs) in England. Then I average the price (but actually the dealers have all ganged up and they set the cars fairly similar in price anyway).
