I vote for Tanzanite. I feel like it's such a classy/elegant color. Blue Ridge is nice if you want something a little brighter and that'll stand out more.

Another vote for Tanzanite. I’m biased tho, mine is Tanzanite over Cognac.

I asked a similar question awhile back about Phytonic Blue Metallic vs. Blue Ridge Mountain. Though more people seemed to like Phytonic I ended up ordering my new 2021 330xi in Blue Ridge. The town I live in is just too dusty for a car as dark as Phytonic and I'd be having to wash it constantly. Much as I wanted to try cognac leather I just didn't think it was a match for the exterior and so went with black leather once again. Waiting anxiously for my car to be built in Mexico but probably won't see it til December.

TB G21
Hi all, first post here (probably last, not so much of a 'poster') but have been reading along this forum for some time, and while reading this post couldn't resist replying.
First time BMW owner (not counting my motorbikes) of a G21 for a bit over a year now, and while buying was torn between Tanzanite Blue, Portimao Blue and Citrin Schwarz (never seen that one IRL though). And it became TB, do not regret it because it is a stunning colour. In sunlight very sparkling, but also in dark weather still very nice, almost close to black (which I always like as well). The downside is indeed keeping it clean, you see everything on it. But on the flip side washing it becomes a very rewarding exercise :-/ |
