M340 vs 330 Ride
How does the ride in Comfort mode in the M340 compare to the 330?

I test drove both and bought the M340 Comfort mode in M340 is more stiffer than 330 in sport mode. It is firm but compliant. If you change tires to go flats the ride would be more softer. The trade off is the M340 in way more fun and exciting to drive. You need to test drive both to see which one you like best.

I concur with this. Test drove both and also had a 330 loaner recently. My m340 is definitely a bit more stiff. It was noticeable on the horrible roads in my city but the performance trade off is worth it.

Are you guys test driving both with adaptive suspension? Otherwise the modes aren't changing how soft or firm the ride is.

This is a very open ended question because the ride comfort for 330 and M340i is defined by road surface conditions, type and size of tires, whether the vehicle is equipped with or without M Adaptive suspension, and type of fabric(Leatherette, Vernasca Leather, Merino Leather) and seating on the chair.
In my opinion, I think one will have to note these things when making an objective comparison, during what test vehicle you drove. |

I plan to test drive a 330, 340 as well as an X3M40i. Thanks for the feedback.

I own a m340i with adaptive suspension and 19" runflats, have a 330i with 18" runflats for the week. The 330 is negligibly softer imo.

Anyone with a M340 running goflat tires? Do they improve the ride without sacrificing handling?
