Yup. I'm about 45 minutes from a Delaware Best Buy and business takes me past there weekly. Whenever I have a big purchase I go to Wilmington and save paying the 6% MD sales tax. I have probably bought at least 4 large TVs, 3 laptops, my 18-200VR and now two cameras

If it is over $400, I usually get it from Delaware.

There is a triple rewards coupon floating about...do a google for 'Best Buy Coupons'. It worked for me. And I'm Premier Silver too

The D300s is great for sport photography, has a tough body, has a quiet mode, 51 AF points and has dual card slots.

I got the D90 instead because it's lighter, has the same sensor as the 300, don't shot sports, and don't want to pay $1,700

Yea I had the D90/300s debate going in my head. I finally decided its gonna be 300s because I want to shoot auto racing and people have told me that I will out grow the D90 faster.

same here but it really comes down to usage and money as they're both great cameras. With the money I saved I was able to get the 18-200vr lens.

Broke down and got the D300s today along with the 18-200mm VR II and 50mm f/1.8 (open box for only $99, couldn't pass it up as it was in flawless condition).

Loaded up the BB coupons as well and got 4x rewards points....woot!

I have the original 18-200 VR. I would be interested in knowing if they fixed the lens creep when the lens is pointing down. I had to put a black rubber band around the barrel to stop the thing extending especially when carrying it around.

The 18-200 on the D300S is crazy big. I love it.

I also have the 35mm F1.8 which just takes good photos. Here is the first one I took with teh 35mm F1.8 and the D300S (shrunk down for the message board...)

Oh Hell NO! Just looked and realized Best Buy sold me the old model with no zoom lock. Looks like I will be going back there to have a few words with them. Thanks for reminding me of this

Edit: Whew! Best Buy had a new one and did the exchange no questions asked
