How low is your Beamer?

I’ve been thinking about lowering my 2019 330i to give it a more aggressive look, I wanted to know how low everyone else’s car is to see how low I should go. Thanks!

Dinan springs are conservative ~1” drop
Eibach ~1.2” drop
H&R ~1.5” drop

I have eibach springs, 19” wheels

I think 2 main factors are 1) if you're running a front splitter or not and 2) if you drive your car in the snow. I have the M performance splitter with the carbon accents and I occasionally scrape turning out of a steep driveway and I'm not lowered at all. And also in the winter; being too low is no good especially if you have a splitter that makes the front end ground clearance a bit lower than stock.

Not a 330i, mine is a m440i but chassis is very similar. She is lowered on H&R springs with 20x9 (front) & 20x10.5 (rear) Vossen HF-3’s in double tinted gloss black 🖤

Wow in my mind I did not think that 20in wheels would sit that nicely on Dinan lowering springs. I’ve got the same springs and ride quality kit, looks like I may be looking for wheels soon 👀. Clean ride man.

The key thing to consider is front splitter if you plan to have one, it seems that aftermarket ones may sit lower than the genuine m performance one, I can say this from experience what I seen on other cars.

The genuine is perfect as its very minimum its position is higher off the ground than the sump tray which is metal.

I have H&R springs

Thank you! Yeah she rides nice zero issues I didn’t want to slam her I wanted comfort and sportiness at the same time. The offset I got is on point and the ps4s grounds her well. I have Adaptive m suspension ( thicker shocks)and bigger rotors then the normal m340i ( M performance 18” bbk) so I was skeptical at first. But vossen and VIP Motorsport took the time in getting me the perfect offset and balance everything out with the right tires so my xdrive system didn’t suffer.

Super happy how she sits.

I think 1” keeps her from bottoming.

I do like how H&R sits and Dinan springs. I think H&R is a tad lower.

Cobra springs. It was the only brand compatible with RWD on the internet that I could find.

I wish there was a 3/4" drop. Anything more is too extreme and the ride will suffer. I have alot of bad roads in South FLA and some pretty steep parking lot entrances so I can go low.

I also like the new grill. Alot depends on color combinations as well. My Portimao Blue with black grill looks amazing.
