Moved to Production Begins this morning! I have seen some conflicting info. Is the production date that date it starts or the day it is scheduled to be finished? Mine is showing a September 6, 2023 Production date.

The date is should be DONE. Add an extra couple days though, my prod date was yesterday and its still entering the assembly line. Hopefully you get lucky though. Also, it prob wont start production until a day or two before your prod date so dont get stressed when it doesnt change for a week.

I'm in Portugal and my SA told me that my 330e will have VIN assigned in week 36

I've been looking to buy a convertible since 2021. Near impossible to find any 4 series convertibles (and the nearest competitors) in this part of the country to test drive for months. Looked at dealerships in Dallas TX, areas of AR, KS MO, etc every few months and could never find any 4 series convertibles at any showroom (even any 4 series was very scarce). Finally found a gorgeous blue M440i xdrive convertible in Sante Fe NM while on a vacation in March 2022. I almost wanted to buy it right there and then, but spouse is deadset on the red paint and cognac seats (though, still not sure I've ever seen either in the wild)

Went to my most local BMW dealer early April 2022 to place our order. Dealership was quite sure they could get a production allocation for it in 3 weeks (we were first in their queue, they assured us, for that series), Well, needless to say, every 3 weeks we called and were strong along for a few months; but this isn't NJ or CA, it's not like I have easy access to multiple dealers.
Finally got a production allocation in late July. Called hotline earlier this month and found out the build week is scheduled for Week 37 (Sept 12)

Yesterday (Aug 29th), finally moved to "Production Begins". (status 150)

BMW M440i xDrive Convertible Aventurin Red Metallic, Cognac Perforated seats, Packages: Premium, driving assistance, dynamic handling, parking assistance, adaptive handling, 50 year emblems, harman kardon sound, wireless charging.

Side bar: I don't mind the wait given global conditions, and this is a third car for us for now so we aren't in any bind, but wow, did I get annoyed at how limited selection is at my regional BMW dealership. Looks like at each place, 1 dude (usually a dude), all cut from the same mold, just flat out decides to order their own spec cars according to their own narrow range of taste. When I visited, every new car on the lot at the local dealership had the shadowline package (my sales rep told me it is the only thing the manager orders; really? nothing wrong with it but I personally don't like shadowline packages at all and nearly all new cars from all brands around here seem to have that black plastic'd out look). They didn't have a single auto with the interior seats we were interested in (Cognac) or trim (aluminum mesh) that we were looking for, and 90% of the autos in the lot were SUVs and 100% of the autos were black, grey, or white. And from what I could tell at all the other dealers in this regions, they are all the same with very, very, rare exceptions (like they order 1 car a year in an actual color). Its like we were seeking a unicorn here.

I wonder if you got pulled up into week 35 because I just called the Genius line and they said I'm still week 36 and my car wouldn't show "production begins" until next week.

Spoke to my CA about the status of Ready for Transport. His system says my status is 165 - In Transit From Plant to Port of Departure.

Not sure what the difference is, but it sounds better than Ready for Transport....

Ordered my G20 330ix 4/5/22... was told production would begin week 20 then 24. Didn't start till week 29. stalled at "Final assembly" for 4 weeks. now 8/30 "ready for transport" the last 2 weeks.
anyone else experiencing this in New England orders?

I think most east coasters are experiencing a delay in finding a carrier assignment.

F12, Network, Fetch/xhr, refresh, check all the forward?groups response tabs for all the details
it will have the longest slider bar because its all on 1 line
and make sure youre on the My Vehicles page, dont click the vehicle

I don’t see network or fetch/xhr. What tab is it under? Because I see elements, console and sources tabs

Network should be next to the sources tab, not sure why you cant see it
