That really doesn't say much. BMW was giving away E9X M3 sedans the first year with 0.9% financing. I purchased mine at that finance rate and under MSRP too! Your assertion doesn't indicate what you imply it does. These are tough times for EVERY company selling products.

My spec was 70k. Frankly, I don't think you could pay me 70k to drive this abomination

It's a Drivers Attention Camera, for the Driving Assistant feature, to ensure that while it is active, the operator is actively paying attention and well-aware of the road ahead, so one doesn't end up lackadaisy, like this guy below, in his Level 5, fully-autonomous, 1994 Toyota Camry:

Admittedly, it looks much better without a front license plate. 😉

Yeah, to me it's the best it can possibly get (and by best I mean most tolerable) with black on black. No front plate would be even more tolerable because with BOB it's effectively a frontal design delete.

The standard features of the M4 are nice, but doesn't that make the minimum MSRP at $70k way too high for a 4er?

I'd spec out only the 19" wheels and the leather seats which for +$1,200 and +$950 doesn't look too unreasonable. I like that 6MT is still standard.

I can't see myself spending $72k before other options in this horrendous front, especially because in a few years it won't be much more than $40k used.

I'll stick with my 2er for a while then.

Really wish the "Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with Laserlight" were a stand-alone option instead of having to get the Executive Package. Not minding the standard LEDs too much, though.

Totally agree. If it isn't your cup of tea there are plenty of other vehicles to direct your interest towards. There will be buyers that are excited to be in this car and they don't need a bunch of pests saying the same pointless critique to them over and over.

Crazy indeed for a 4 series that is not an M4. Massively overpriced and ugly.
