I'm really excited about all these color choices. This might be the craziest color palette since the E36 M3 days. Blue, red, yellow and green. Just missing purple like Daytona Violet and Techno Violet.

I saw this in person and liked it as a package.. ext color, gloss black grills, two tone racing seats and the overall aesthetics. To me the grill is an evolution and does not look excessive like the one on the 7 series.
There is AwD option coming per the BMW NA lady. Smoke black tail lights are also going to be an option.

If they were amused at speculation about what these look like that means they're monitoring forums like this.

So after reading this I actually went back and watched the video that BMW M released last month and you can see the blue color seats OP mentioned. Didn’t notice before as they blended in with the jeans.

Saw it today ... the color looks like hi-lighter yellow, no metallic flake. The seats look great for the track, not so sure as a daily. The blue suede/alcantara? Looks nice but not with that exterior in my opinion. The car looks like a smaller M8. Oddly the trunk had no M4 badge, only on the side fender vents (M4 competition)
The size of the car compared to the current F82 makes you forget about the front grilles. The bmw rep said 9/23 full details ... she was kinda reserved when asked about the car. |

I don't think most people liked Austin Yellow. Personally I wasn't a fan either, this shade looks nicer and closer to the E46 M3's Phoenix Yellow.
