I have been watching many nicer cars I pass now and many have no front plate. I have also passed quite a few cruisers and have not been stopped so far but my state does require a front plate so I’m not sure how soon my luck runs out with this.

Vandussm what year is your car for sly?

I am also weighing these two right now and I’m curious if anyone has used them or has opinions on this video???:

I'm definitely looking at the Sto N Sho one's after seeing this link, but in the spirit of using double sided 3M, the Skenebrackets one looks lighter and possibly two pieces instead of one (the base). If the Sto N Sho one can mount up with a long strip of 3M I'd rather have the quick release.

Amazon says Sto N Sho is less than one pound in weight, so only need to worry about wind resistance.

I also have the OEM bracket, was going to 3M that on, but the pegs where you screw it on stand off a bit much. I will have to use 3, or 4 strips of tape on top of each other just to start clearing those.

Choices....

Just want to take my car off probable cause mode

StoNSho is quick release. On my 2023 330e M Sport I mounted the bracket under the front lip. The plate holder slips into two holes and locks into place via a spring loaded pin. Just pull the pin and slip the plate holder out.

No judgment here. A couple of ways. First, if you see a flat panel looking thing in the center of the black mesh grill. Second, if your cruise control buttons on your steering wheel allows you to set distance to the car in front. Third, it should say on the window sticker when you bought it.

In my photo above, I do NOT have adaptive cruise. You can see some holes where the sensor panel thing can be attached, but it’s not there.

Hope that helps.

Hey, I ended up ordering a Sly Bracket for my 330i with radar, and was able to install the plate to the right of the sensor. Worked great.

Here are some pictures. It was easy to install. A little spendy, but you get high-quality materials and fabrication.

Guessing you haven't found an option? Also hate the off-center look.

This seems centered but I wasn't able to confirm.

I saw that but there is a big disclaimer on the description, so I assume that means they've tested it and don't have one available that works (yet).

Code:
Currently not available on cars equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (Large sensor in the middle of the lower grille) from 2022-2024

Yeah. I just ended up picking up the Slybracket and put it on like the guy above. I figure its no-drill, so maybe someone will come out with a centered solution in the future, and I can just replace the Slybracket.

I'm going to install the factory one using some gorilla tape (same as 3m). The positive is my car is black and my plate is black also.

I also wound up going with Slybrackets, and also did not install the leveler. I did buy the leveler but found it wasn’t needed and would have pushed the plate further away from the car, so I didn’t install that extra part. Yes it is off center (which I was also trying to avoid), but I didn’t want to wait anymore and the Slybrackets one does seem to be high quality.

I originally bought the Carbonio one (before they added the disclaimer) and can confirm it doesn’t work for LCI.

If you don’t have the adaptive cruise control, the Slybrackets one should fit centered in the lower grill.
