Like the OP, I live in the same area. I purchased a CPO M340i 2 months ago from San Francisco BMW. It was 1st in service in 2020 so I have 2 years of warranty remaining (1 year new car, 1 year CPO). Mine had 30k miles and they were asking $45k which I negotiated down to $42k. It is fully loaded with executive package, laser headlights, HK audio, adaptive suspension, optional 19" wheels etc. Love the car!
But what I am seeing now with the market is that used car prices are going up... the same car as equipped would cost closer to $50k in the San Francisco area. I have been keeping an eye on it as a couple of other friends are looking to buy M340i now that they've sat in mine. haha I would probably try to wait and see if prices drop. If this is a long term purchase, then buying now is ok - just be aware that cars are selling at a premium.

Just bought a cpo 2020 loaded m340i. Only thing it does t have is adaptive suspension. New tires, brakes, rotors. 29k mikes and super clean. Out the door for 55k. Tax and everything. A bit high? Yes. But two plus years of unlimited mileage and warranty plus all the new wear tear parts had to cost them 2-3k to get this car ready for sale. It drives like new. Worth it. I feel I just rolled a ton of maint cost into my loan which will last two+ years. So 6-1/2 dozen the other kind of. Run flat tires as well. $$$
Check the maint history also. If it has been soiled and just maint, I wouldn’t worry about the mileage. But up to you. |
