Accidentally ordered "MAD" spacer instead of H&R... will it be less safe on my car?
Couldn’t find reviews so I have no idea what to expect or if this may fail on me unlike H&R. Or should I cancel the order and wait a few business days for refund… to order H&R

Mad seems like a decent company. Not sure why these would fail over other brands.

Shouldn’t fail at all, both are high quality metals. You should be fine. I wouldn’t cancel.
MAD spacers ,Hub centric wheel spacers are CNC machined from high grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and anodized black. H&R that is lighter and has a higher tensile strength than 6061-T6 billet aluminum Only major difference between the two is the type of metal. Billet is better but seems like Mad compensates for it using a higher grade aluminum. To me would be the same like Randy said not sure why MAD would fail In the "T6 condition" (both metals heat-treated with a solution and aged), aluminium 7075 T6 has a tensile strength nearly double that of 6061 T6 aluminium. 7075 alloy also has a higher shear strength which is about 1.5 times that of 6061 alloys in the same T6 condition. Hope this helps with your decision |
