It took exactly 2 days for it to go through the VDC at port, and for them to install the rear trim + diffuser. I didn't opt for the Exhaust at port, and I'm having my dealer install the CF M Performance Spoiler when it gets to them, so I'm not sure how long those installs delay the process. Wish I could be more helpful to the rest of the folks here.


Anyway, newest update is that it will be at the dealership tomorrow, and I'm taking delivery on Sat. Who isn't sleeping for 48 hours? This guy....

I order my 2021 m340Xi with oil cooling pkg on 10/21/21 took delivery on 1/27/21, total time from order to delivery to dealer was exactly 14 weeks and time from "ready to transport" status to "delivered" was 19 days. The car is amazing was actually thinking about trading it for an M3 Comp Xdrive next year, but after driving this incredible car I think I will wait a few years more before I finally get an M3. Build on the Mexico Plant.

Im in Jersey too and 14 weeks wait time is the last thing I want to hear right now

I second that - 14 weeks is entirely too long. I'm sorry you had to endure (wait) that long before taking delivery. Based on the timelines I have seen including yours Josehb, I estimate delivery should happen around St Patrick's day or week 10. But only time will tell how accurate my estimate is - but I hope it's spot on or sooner.

Been in Ready to Transport for 2 days. I'm right by both of you as well (Waldwick, NJ). Sounds like you might be on a boat before me but hopefully there's another leaving soon!

Where is your car being delivered? The vessel mentioned is destined for the Northeast - I see that your listed in Colorado, so not sure your car would be on a vessel headed for the Northeast.

I think they might already be on the ship. There are instances where status goes from 'Ready to Transport' to 'Delivered'. Just take a look through this thread. This also aligns with the end of February / early March delivery. Since mine's going to Newark, next ship doesn't leave for there until early March, at least under K-Line.

EDIT: I've done a bit of digging and found this site: https://www.importinfo.com/

Basically, once a ship goes stateside it's manifests are public information, so you can dig into each particular item and even see the VIN numbers associated with that B/L number. It may not help us find our vehicle exactly, but could help us narrow down our options.

My car is being delivered in Colorado. I figured as much, but I will admit I was rather excited at the idea that it was already in transit -and that does make sense.
