I really love the Cognac leather with the oak wood trim....but couldn't get over the Cognac lower dash - it looks really cheap and absolutely hated it in person. I custom ordered my G20 (still hasn't arrived) and considered doing a custom order black lower dash, but it seemed like a waste of money for the price. Wish they would just standardize it with a black lower dash for future years. Ended up with a Portimao Blue exterior with interior Mocha Seats and Oak Wood Trim. I considered the Black or Black w/ Blue Stitch option, but the Mocha seemed a bit more "different" and a little more "luxury" than "sport". I can definitely see why someone would prefer the Black / Black + Blue Stitch with the aluminum trim if they were going for a sporty look.

I think I want to try a brown leather in my next car. I've already done black, Silverstone, Imola Red, etc.

I felt the same way about the lower dash with the cognac, but I overcame that objection and ordered the cognac.
I remember when I first ordered cinnamon on the F10, the lower dash in cinnamon, but I got used to it immediately and liked the interior, and I like the cognac more than the cinnamon.
Try to overcome the fear of the lower dash not being black and you can get the cognac

We ordered the black sapphire with cognac vernasca leather. We love the more natural leather colour. The oyster in our last 328 was easily marked with blue jeans. Many compliments with the cognac.

What about Canberra beige full beige interior, nobody like?

I still did not find pics of this interior on G20 from real car.

Mocha on Portimao Blue was my number one combo followed by Black Vernasca on SO. However, in the end I got Black Vernasca on AP because of the phenomenal deal I got on an in-stock unit.

Me too. Black with aluminium look very sharp. I don't like blue ambient light (it is very Hyundaish to me). Orange ambient is only BMW lume

And to make it even more difficult with the launch of the 330d/e BMW now has the individual Tartufo colored Merino available as well.

I've never been a Brown leather interior kinda guy but I dunno this just looks so good to me. I really need to find a dealer that has this on the lot to go check it out!
Cognac is MUCH lighter and oranger than this in real life

blue is actually known to help with stress and be very calming. It's supposed to slow down heart rate, lower blood pressure and reduce anxiety. But to each their own...I like orange as well 👍

I agree. Blue is calming and relaxing but blue like sea or lake not the blue light. Actually, blue light is very irritating for eyes at night. Just my two cents

I'm pretty certain we can both agree that green is not preferable ... unless you're in the Christmas spirit.

Brown interiors are always nicer looking than black.

They have a nice mix of sportiness and luxury, very classy and timeless. They are easy to maintain too. I'd never get a black interior if I had the choice.
