Happy to hear a decent 1/4 mile time. I'm having a blast in mine.

I just came across a thread where a fellow member did 12.08 in the 1/4 with time slip to prove. Stock engine with 19" run flats. Impressive! so as one poster had said 11's is doable. His car is new as well, picked up last month so probably not fully broken in yet.

Anyone with even a modicum of seat time in an M3 would never dare suggest that an M340 is as good or better, it's just objectively wrong.
That said, the M340 is a fantastic machine for its segment and is putting down some great times.

My F80 M3 Competition package is fun, but pretty tail happy and not very planted. My GT-R on Nitto NT01 tires on the other hand has massive grip.

i have plenty of seat time in an M3, and i would take the new M340 over it for daily driving. "objectively better" doesn't matter when it comes to what an enthusiast wants to drive. it's about how the car fits your needs

For people already have a weekend fun car or a dedicated track car, M340i can certainly be the better choice as a daily. Certainly easier to find a winter tire/wheel setup. |

I ditched my E92 M3 for an M340i xDrive since I only drive on the street and it is faster, more comfortable, easy to drive, and no worries about grip in my uses. Cutting edge tech doesn't hurt either. So for daily uses absolutely I take it over any M3. G80 remains a question mark for use on the street but we all know its looks will be polarizing and it will certainly be too stupid fast for the street.

I went 30 in the front and 16 in back... I honestly thought it would be a lot darker. Any tinting place will be happy to show you the end result before you buy.
