M240i low torque

Torque isn’t spooling like it used to. When I first bought the car, the torque was immediate. Now it seems to take forever (around 3000 rpm) to finally get going. Anybody else have this problem? I have a snapshot of the car in 1st gear, pedal to the floor, rpm around 2k and tq only at 150lbs

Seems like boost leak, check the intake manifold or charge pipe might be broken.

I realize there are M340 drivers in this forum, but you may have better luck posting this in the 2-series forum.

I only say this because the M240 uses the B58B30M0, whereas the M340 uses the B58B30O1.

not to be a jerk (sincerely) but any reason you wouldn't just drop it at the dealer and see what they come up with? It seems given your year you would still probably be under warranty - maybe not / anyhoo sorry you're experiencing this let us know what you find out
