New issues noticed after coding or normal?

Hey guys so I tried to do some sneaky Bimmercode coding today and... well I think I'm losing my mind because there are little things here and there that I swear are different to the pre-coding state (that I didn't code - which was just some tailgate operation stuff)

For example, is this the maximum opening size of the G20 sunroof? I am sure it used to open slightly more. I can't recall if I had to click the opening button backward a 2nd time at the end to make it to further (like in my old F30) but that doesn't do anything in the G20.

Prove my insanity and tell me it's the same as yours?

I had same thought a week or so ago. I felt it opened more when I first purchased. But mine is just as you pictured...

Thanks guys, I just couldn't believe that the opening was that small.

Glad to know I'm not the only one losing my mind

Did you try holding down the switch to open? Some cars open automatically to a certain position and you have to basically "force it" to open further by holding the switch.

This doesn't work, used to work on F30.

Yeah this is what I thought I had to do, like my old F30, but it didn't work

This normal. I believe the shark fin prevents it from going back any further

Okay here comes concern #2!

Does anyone feel that their rear view camera is out of alignment with the rest of the 360 degree camera? I definitely think that this wasn't a problem before. It's far worse the closer you get to an object, particularly if it's elevated.

See here:

My sunroof doesn’t open all the way either. But then, I don’t remember how it was before since I never opened it a lot. And pneumodoc confirmed it.

I don’t have the 360deg cam so I can’t say anything about concern #2.

Sunroof Opening

The sunroof should definitely open further than that. I just recently got a '19 330i and it was fully opening until yesterday. Now opens to the same amount as you posted.

Have you found a fix?

Planning on getting it into the dealership sometime this week.

Edit:
Maybe I'm just going crazy, at 30:00 min into this video you can see that it doesn't open all the way.

Yep, you’re crazy. It’s been established long ago that’s as far as the G20 sunroof opens. It sucks, but that’s how they designed it.

Pressing a second time only works on f30. The bottom photo does appear to open more. When you code it makes a backup before you code and overwrites everything with the new coded file. Did you try restoring the original file before the changes?
