Just checked out the M340i while getting my car serviced. This is the deal we came up with:

MSRP: $65000
Incentives: $3250 (Lease cash and loyalty) Didn't mention CCA at the time...
10K miles/36 months
Max MSD: $4900
Total Down: $2500
Monthly: $699 (includes NY tax)

That is for a factory order car. They initially gave me a price of $725 a month for a cheaper $61,500 car they had in stock. Either way they offered to take my current 340i lease early and pay the 5 or so remaining payments.

Not an outstanding deal by any means but I was surprised by how good the price was considering we came to that within an hour of talking. In the end I decided to wait until my current lease ends before making an order so that's why I didn't really ask them for the specific details. Hoping for better rates during the holiday season and I'm also waiting for a M Performance Exhaust to be available to add to the order. Also considering a 2019 M550i depending on what they will go for once the 2020 with the new engine comes out.

Put the numbers into the LeaseHackr calculator to evaluate your deal.

You are probably getting a worse deal because they're making the 5 lease payments on your behalf. I'd wait it out. Lease deals will probably improve as fall arrives too.

I think it looks really good due to the 11% discount you are getting before rebate. Is this for a factory order car or a car on the lot?

It’s for a car on the lot. Any room for potential improvements? Manager claims he is all in with this one.

I think it's pretty good because I got a quote for less discount on a factory order car and I live in Los Angeles where there are a lot of BMW dealerships competing against each other.

I hear you. There are 6 dealerships here in the city (Atlanta) and so far this is the best offer I’ve got. Close to being convinced that this can’t be improved .

Dude. He is ALL in on that deal. Do not hesitate if it is the car you want. Just make sure money factor is not marked up.

That's a pretty good deal given how new the car is. From what I've read 9-10% is as good as it gets when ordering a car, so going to 11% for one on the lot seems like a great deal. Just verify all your lease numbers in a calculator before you sign

Great - that helps and I have some improvements to seek. Good to get the positive feedback though!

So I put my numbers in atleast 3 lease calculators and all of them spit out a number in the 560-570$ range with 0 down for the following for 0.00165 being the MF:

MSRP: 62345
Adjusted price: 51861
Taxable fees: 974
Doc Fee: 689
Tax: 1637
Non Tax fees: 42
Net Price: 55203

Dealers quote sheet states 0 down 650 and based on the calculator, that suggests a MF of 0.00264 (only way to get to 650). So I’m thinking that even if the dealer is claiming that the MF they used is 0.00165, I dont think this is the case. Is that unethical or I’m over thinking and missing something obvious in the calculations?

I think you may want to save a copy of whatever number you got from a lease calculator and then compare and verify all the numbers with the dealership you are working with. Good luck!

Read the fine print... ask what that final payment is... I have heard of GA dealers doing "balloon" type contracts...
