how do we know if we code (memorize ASS state) successfully or not? software 03/2024.40.

I coded mine but the led on the button still not light on when I start the car.

2024 BMW G20 330ix has ASS button.

I have a 2025 M340i and have not been able to specifically code it with Bimmercode. I can still code to start up in Sport Individual, but must set the transmission to Sport or Sport Plus.

I have installed this in my car for more than a year now.
This is a must..
I know it is not as simple as coding.
but now I am so used to not caring the auto start stop button.
This thread reminded me that everyone is still suffering from Auto start stop.

Je suis le propriétaire d'une BMW 530D LCI 286CV de 10/2021, achetée en ALLEMAGNE, et importée en FRANCE, je peu vous affirmer que Bimmercode dernière version, fonctionne pour supprimer le start and stop. Je peux aussi choisir dans quel mode je veux démarrer (éco-pro, confort ou sport).

It doesn’t work for cars without the button. And as already pointed out on this forum, this issue is prevalent with the U.S market. So it’s important to keep this specific to not only vehicles that do not have the button but also the market.

Many who responded here with claims that it works are either in the EU/RoW and/or have the physical button which makes it possible to code the memory.
